Located just outside Sydney in the idyllic Macarthur Region, Tony purchased his two Cedarspans just over three years ago.
Adjacent and with matching style, one serves as gorgeous horse stables and the other as dream farm accommodation…this time for humans!
The farm accommodation exudes a contemporary ambiance, seamlessly blending modern industrial aesthetics with lux black accents as a subtle nod.
“When we bring clients onto the property, they can see that the stables are nice and the horses are very well looked after.”
Tony’s Cedarspan’s are the 20CHL60 Loft Design, measuring 3.8m x 10.8m, with a 1.9m verandah along the front. Featuring Board and Batten cladding, additional windows, and custom door openings, he further personalised the look with “Windspray” Colorbond® roofing and “White” aluminium windows. This created the contemporary country design palette that continues through to the interiors.
“The stables are part of the commercial enterprise we run here, and the studio is paying for itself.”
“What mainly appealed to me was the design. I didn’t want to build the typical steel fabrication horse stable.”
The 3-metre wall height with a high pitched roof line, creates cathedral-like ceilings, making for a perfect airy & spacious accommodation weekender. The loft space that comes standard with this design has added additional value for Tony’s investment return opportunities.
“The loft design gave us a lot of flexibility in how we were going to use the space.”
